Product Junkie....Dior Bronze!
I am always on the lookout for a good matte bronzer that doesn't make my face react and turn into a crusty old mess. I really took a chance on this and surprisingly I tolerate it well. If I'm lazy and don't wash it off before going to bed, parts of my face will be somewhat dry the next day but it doesn't make me itch. It's matte, which I love! It has SPF 20, which is great! The staying power is good if I put it on before my moisturizer dries. The color is good but light so it's a good bronzer during winter or just before you tan during summer. Just wish it came in more deeper colors for a more tanned look! 3.8/5

GHD IV Styler Love this little baby! I have used ghd for years and years and it never lets me down. It is super easy to use, super fast to work with and the cord is extra long. It is pricey but it beats anything else....you just have to trust me! I have had a couple of wide ones but my latest purchase is this narrow version. I thought I would be able to to gorgeous curls but frankly, I suck when it comes to hair :( Anyway, they are both super but I tend to use the wider one since it's faster if you're just gonna straighten the hair. Top rating 5/5!

I just have to share a homemade recipe for perfect summer feet! Well, all winter I really have neglected my toes and never thought I would get them summer ready (that's how bad they were). I have searched for years after the perfect foot balm/cream but pretty much all of them are mediocre at best. I decided to take on an experiment and make my own! I don't have a proper recipe written down because who knew it was going to be the BEST ever foot treatment? I used lanolin! This is the base of the cream so the amount is dependent on how much you would like to do. I used glycerol! Maybe I used 1 part glycerol to 2 parts lanolin. I used vitamin E mixed in almond oil! I poured some in and stirred. Added some more until I like the consistency. I also added a bit of extra oil! I think I used Jojoba, but think Macadamia or any other good oil will work just fine. I applied it after the morning shower and that is it. I think it just took a week until my feet were completel...

Around my house....
I mentioned last week about a couple of changes that we have made in our kitchen/dining room so here are a few photos...sorry for not fixing them in Photoshop but I have been way too lazy for that ;) Our can cabinet has new fabric in them which I think gives a calmer appearance (no more clutter to be seen). A new grey ceiling lamp, ordinary but nice....I also decided to order a couple of "special" light bulbs for my new lamps and when they arrived....OMG! I think I just bought a bulb for constructions!!! It is huge! I was even afraid to put it in, waiting for the whole block to turn black when turning the lights on. My boyfriend seemed to have forgotten about out Sydney incident and plugged the thing in....yelling from the kitchen - It's lovely! "In Sydney years ago we were going to plug a new light in. The outlet was behind a dresser so I was lying on all fours with my boyfriend right behind me. I reached in, plugged it in and turned the switch on. BANG! The hole place went pi...
I'm totally in love with this project from Designsponge! Read more....
I've had great response and comments about our paleolithic/primal ways which I love, so thank's for all the comments :) I totally forgot to give you the weekly update on our progress so I thought I would squeeze in a short one now. During the weekend, an international food market was in town so we cheated with the diet a bit, but the scales moved in the right direction anyway so it's all good. HOWEVER (and a big one), it seems that the body has become more and more sensitive to crap.....food that is. When we cheat, or eat bad carbs like bread and pasta, my stomach is upset for days....not to mention the heartburn and the pain minutes after eating. If you see me lying down in a restaurant....don't panic! It's just me having indigestion :) To me, it really shows which foods that are best for you and your digestion. I guess this is a good thing, as it makes you think twice before eating bad stuff. However, is saddens med a bit since it makes it difficult to eat o...
Tip of the Day!
Paint a shadow!
My day in pictures...
Morning cuddles.... International food market.... Chorros... Finished with lunch in the sun, bike ride through the old industrial landscape and some shopping.... A perfect day!
Late night baking.....
This is just a little preview of the latest changes in my kitchen.... I found brand new curtains in storage that I used to cover the doors in our cabinet. It's a white, sheer fabric with specs of glitter in it. Love to go through old stuff and actually find something that you can use again. Feels like a brand new cabinet for zero money :) We also changed the lampshade to a grey one. Feels softer, warmer and I thing it will look good with our "soon to be sown" curtains. Happy Friday!
Product Junkie.....Chanel Blush!
Based on a review I read somewhere, I decided to try the Chanel powder blush for myself. It's actually a really flattering blush in a peachy-pink color (with a little bit of shimmer). The good stuff is the color and that the shimmer won't really show once on the face....and the lovely and luxurious packaging! The not so good stuff is that it's really hard to get some color on the brush. Maybe it's not pigmented enough or maybe it's too pressed because I have to work hard for some color on my cheeks. Sometimes I think it's a good thing since it's almost impossible to overdo but this blush is a little bit too hard :( Still absolutely love the color and would definitely buy again. Just a quick note on how we are doing :) Slowly losing more weight! Still making gains at the gym! My skin has become soo soft! and here is a big one: I have had a huge problem with receeding gums for the last couple of years and it only got worse and worse. My gums felt kind of sore when I brushed my teeth....until now! All of a sudden it felt different brushing my teeth. It felt as he gum has attached itself again. My teeth feel strong and I don't feel sore at all. I mean - that s a miracle in itself!! Too bad I didn't know about this way of eating sooner, could have save me a lot of problems. :)

I want to tell you about the Nars soft touch shadow pencils! I bought mine in glistening pink champagne, called Goddess. It's a smooth and creamy pencil that is super easy to apply and I actually found it long wearing. They go on like a dream and they can be used for shading, smudging or highlighting. My lids reacts a little bit when I'm wearing it but as long as I wash it off when I get home, it's fine and doesn't stop me from wearing it. I really want it in more colors! Rating 3.5/5

I have been taking one day at a time :) I do love this way of eating and I have never been more convinced that it's the right way, however it is not always easy. Dairy has been such a big part of our diet (Swedes loves their dairy) so it's difficult to change your mindset of what to cook and how to cook it.... My eczema has really been acting up and I can't figure out why? Maybe the body is detoxing? Anyone that knows? Other weird things that are happening is that I'm starting to be able to feel any changes within the body. Kind of freaky :) I can feel the minute I ovulate, I can feel when my blood sugar rises....I'm talking about minutes here!! I can also feel when I have eaten something I shouldn't....I get a heartburn from hell as a reminder :) I guess these are all good things but it feels weird. The best thing about this week has been that my cuticles has become soooo soft! and I have always been troubled by super dry cuticles. Yay! Have you tried eating Paleo? Or ar...
