Templates on television
2007-10-28 00:19:00 Swedish TV channel TV4 made an interview with me a few days ago, and it was aired on friday night in the economy news. I talked about the templates and about the plan to launch a company together with Johanna where we would try to make a living from giving away work for free. I mentioned that this was a target for the nearby future, without explaining anything about the reason for waiting (the fact that I'm putting my energy right now on recovering from the anemia). I also explained that the whole thing was possible thanks to the internet, that I was able to work from anywhere in the world and that we hope to bring in more designers into the project in the future. The program can be seen on the Ekonominyheterna TV website. Look for the link that says "Ekonominyheterna fredag 18:33 (2007-10-26, 18:31)". Please note that it is in Swedish and that it is my little computer corner in our kitchen you see. I miss my old studio and I really look forward to getting an own offi...

Using HTML templates
2007-07-21 02:12:00 One of the most common questions I get is "Why is template (x) not working with CMS (y)?". The answer is simple: The website templates templates contain no CMS-specific code, so they will not work with any CMS by default. You need to add the proper CMS functions to get the template to work with your choice of CMS, or find ported templates or themes that have already been customized to work with the CMS you want to use. Like the WordPress themes, which I have customized to work with WordPress. Porting is done in different ways for different systems, and it is nothing I can do for you since I don't know how all the different systems work. To learn more about it, look for documentation on the website of your CMS (like the Codex for WordPress), or learn from templates and themes that are already available.
